Great Wall is giving one lucky visitor to the Balmoral County Show the chance to drive away in one of its new Steed S pickup trucks in a free giveaway on Friday 17 May.
Held in conjunction with Northern Ireland’s leading agricultural publication, Farming Life, 25 finalists have been selected at random from thousands of entries to a competition run in the magazine recently. Of these finalists, one winner will be chosen to drive away the Steed at 2.00pm on Friday 17 May at the Farming Life stand.
“We are delighted to be offering a lucky visitor to the Balmoral County Show a chance to win a Great Wall Steed S,” said Neville Matthews, Great Wall’s Managing Director for Ireland. “Our vehicles already represent outstanding value for money, but to be given one free of charge is a fantastic opportunity and goes a small way to giving something back to the hard-working Northern Irish agricultural industry.”
Already the UK’s most affordable 4×4 double-cab pick up, with prices starting from £13,998 CVOTR, the Great Wall Steed is also the only vehicle of its kind to be offered with a six year / 125,000-mile warranty. It has also recently been uprated to boast a braked towing capacity of 2,500kg, making it even better value for money.
The Balmoral County Show is the largest agricultural and food exhibition in Northern Ireland, taking place on 15-17 May 2013 at Balmoral Park, Lisburn.
About Great Wall
Great Wall is one of China’s most successful car manufacturers, building total assets of £2.7 billion and an employee base of over 42,000 people worldwide. The company is also the only privately-owned Chinese automotive company to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
In 2011 Great Wall’s annual production capacity was expanded to 700,000 vehicles per annum with the opening of an all-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at the coastal port of Tianjin, 60 miles from Beijing. This new plant is forecast to produce 400,000 examples of eight different Great Wall models – many of them destined for export markets.
Great Wall is making substantial investments in product development. For example, the company is building a brand new, £500 million R&D Technology Centre close to its headquarters in Baoding City. The facility will occupy an area of 250,000 square metres and accommodate 5,000 engineers.
Great Wall already exports its range of small and large family cars, SUVs and pick-up trucks to over 120 countries around the globe, including South Africa, Australia and Italy.
