Land Rover announced today that the all-new 2014 Range Rover Sport has been named to Road & Track’s first ever “Best Cars” list of 2013 in the “SUV” category.
Road & Track’s first annual “Best Cars” list distinguishes the best new automobiles and trucks of the year and the honorees are recognized in the December 2013/January 2014 issue, available on newsstands now.
“We’re thrilled to be recognized among Road & Track’s list of ‘Best Cars’ in 2013,” said Kim McCullough, Brand Vice President, Land Rover North America. “Our vehicles are known for their off-road capabilities and to be recognized by such a credible on-road focused publication proves that the handling and incredible agility of our newest Range Rover Sport makes us a force to be reckoned with on pavement, as well as off.”
“The 2014 Range Rover Sport is 800 pounds lighter, looks fantastic, and puts the driver on a throne. It’s the luxury SUV of the year,” said Larry Webster, Editor-in-Chief at Road & Track.
The all-new 2014 Range Rover Sport is Land Rover’s fastest, most responsive and agile car to ever hit the market. Its capabilities for on and off-road terrain are unlike any other car of its kind, and provides drivers with the ideal balance of sport and luxury.
